We had a great stay in the cottage for my husband's birthday. The house is spacious, clean and tidy with well equipped kitchen. House is wheelchair accessible, very good heating and ventilation, great views of the surrounding fields. There is even separate recreation room for exercise and full length table tennis. Our host Serenus was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, even surprised us with bottle of wine, card and box of chocolate as birthday greetings! Cottage located very close to Castleblayney. Fully recommend this place. Thanks Serenus for your hospitality!

Recently stayed in Laneside Haven for 2 nights with family and had a fantastic time. The house itself is spacious, well laid out with beautiful decor throughout. House is wheelchair accessible, very secure with gates on the front and has a great view of the surrounding fields with lots of species of birds in the area. The back has a nice area to sit outside and separate recreation room for exercise and full length table tennis. Our host Serenus was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It's located very close to Castleblayney main street for shopping and restaurants. We would happily go back and visit again!!!

We had a perfect stay at this accommodation. Plenty of room, great beds, fabulous amenities. Serenus provided so many wonderful personal touches. We were so happy to find a plate of warm raspberry and coconut scones with butter and jam on the counter along with a lovely bottle of wine. We come from Chicago so are quite addicted to non instant coffee. We called Serenus up in a panic when we couldn't find a coffee maker in the house. She came to the rescue immediately. Truly such a beautiful house in a beautiful location and the best host you could ask for.

It’s a beautiful location with stunning views and very close to many beautiful attractions. Serenus couldn’t be more helpful and even brought us beautiful home made scones one day. We will definitely use this facility again when visiting Ireland and would highly recommend it to anyone. We are a family of 4 but had some family join us for a few nights. Plenty of living space and outdoor space for the kids if the weather is nice.

This was a real find ! Serenus was great to communicate with, thoughtful with her welcome goodies, and had the home set up with everything you’d need for an extended stay. . The process was smooth. The 4 bedroom home was spacious and nicely appointed to include WiFi and smart tv. We travelled with 4 kids and the activity room was a bonus that we got much use out of. We chose this area because we had family near by but it’s a great location for being on the way or a home base for travels. It’s 5 minutes from town and also the major motorways. We will be back !

5 star stay! the house is even nicer than in the pictures and super clean. Serenus left us a basket with a few essentials and a bottle of wine, it was a really nice touch. The area is very quiet and the views from the house are gorgeous. The kids loved playing in the lovely playroom and in the garden. The gym machines were a plus. Serenus is a great hostess, she was always available to answer any questions. Wonderful house altogether! We'd love to come back.

If you're looking for the perfect quiet getaway with close access to Lough Muckno and Concra Wood golf club, then look no further! This is a stunning, secure and spotlessly clean house with an impeccable host! It also has the perfect recreation room with a table tennis table, treadmill and high end spinning bike so great to be able to use for exercise / general family entertainment when there. Very easy to get to from Castleblayney town and once out on the main roads, Monaghan town and Carrickmacross are within easy reach. We will definitely be back - would simply not consider a hotel when the alternative is a beautifully kept family home like this !

Our family of four needed a home between homes, for 11 days between selling our own house and being able to move into our next house. Laneside Haven was indeed a haven for us in so many ways. Spotlessly clean, modern, warm, convenient, beautiful views, peaceful, secure, well laid out, a fitness suite worthy of any hotel penthouse - I cannot say enough about this property and our host who was on hand whenever we needed. She was incredibly flexible and supportive as we navigated a very busy time. Next time it will be a retreat holiday for us here. 10 stars!!

What a magnificent place to spend a weekend. The house is excellent- Serenus has thought of everything. We were all blown away by the tiny details. Could happily have spent an extra few days. The location is so quiet and peaceful and relaxing yet only 5 mins away from the bustling town of Castleblayney. We had a lovely meal in the coach inn in town. Having not seen friends for near 18 months Laneside Haven was the perfect location for a long overdue catch up. Highly recommended.

Laneside Haven has to be seen to be believed. It is a home from home. Built to the highest standards this is 5 Star self catering. You have everything you need and more. Beautiful location and in its own grounds entered by an electric gate. Supermarkets and shops are only a few minutes drive away. We played 6 games of golf in 2 weeks. Serenus super host and will help with anything. This is a great base for sightseeing taking days out. It is actually a pleasure driving on the uncluttered roads. I cannot praise this accommodation enough, there is even a games/exercise room with a table tennis table. 1 hr 20 min from Belfast ferry port. 6 adults for 2 weeks relaxing and exploring. Could not be bettered. Steve

Just home from a fabulous stay at Laneside Haven with my family and it was absolutely fantastic, the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The house felt more like a boutique hotel than an Airbnb with the level of attention to detail and facilities available in the house. Right from the beginning the stay was seamless with great communication from the host. The house was immaculate with not a thing out of place and it is finished to a very high standard. The bed linen and towels were to a hotel standard and the house had everything you would find in a hotel and more. The electric gates provided huge security so the kids could play outside and we knew they were safe within the confines of the house. The gym room was very impressive and the kids had great fun trying to play table tennis. The location is ideal. GR8 and Muckno Park is just five minutes from the house and provides a great evenings entertainment for the whole family. The host provided everything you need for a a self catering holiday. I couldn't recommend this house highly enough. Definite 5 stars from us and we're looking forward to our return visit already. Thank you Serenus for a great stay

Serenus was a wonderful host, the house is even nicer in real life than in the pictures. I travelled with family and the house had everything we needed. Upon arrival, Serenus had left out some freshly baked goods which was a first for me in my many Air BNB stays! Cleanliness was second to none, there wasn’t a thing out of place. It is extremely private and safe, the electric gates were an added bonus and reassuring for when the kids were playing outside. The host had activity sheets, colouring sheets and colouring pencils which was a really nice thought. During my stay I had to partake in some zoom meetings for work and the WiFi was extremely reliable, even better than my own home which is reassuring for those who might need to work while away from home, there is even a work station in the living room! Serenus had many suggestions for activities to engage young and old during our stay and communication with the host was brilliant, we didn’t want for anything. The games room and gym came in really handy when we had a wet morning. The garden is beautifully landscaped, the BBQ area was well equipped and it was lovely to watch the sunset over the Monaghan Drumlins! There was great attention to detail in Laneside Haven from the bathrooms to the bedding, the bbq area and everything in between. I would totally recommend a stay here and personally will be back again!

We were delighted to stay in Laneside Haven with our 3 kids for a family getaway. This house has been newly renovated and has absolutely everything you need and more for a perfect self catering holiday. The house is very warm and cosy with great modern facilities. The electric gates at the property also make it very secure so kids can play outside safely without access to the road.

The location is fantastic in nice rural setting just minutes from Castleblaney town and Muckno Park which is a great facility for walks and other activities. The house is also located close to Monaghan, Carrickmacross and Ballybay towns and around 30 minutes to Newry and Armagh so there was plenty to do for days out. For a kid’s day out, Tayto Park is also just 1hour away although we didn't make it on this occasion. 

The host was also very accommodating and communication was excellent. 

I would highly recommend a stay at Laneside Haven and I look forward to return!
